Black women made the career switch from corporate America to entrepreneurship during Covid-19. While it appears entrepreneurship was deemed a necessity, Black women were the largest group of new business owners closely followed by Latina women. Does FAAS pay for CPA?
Not at Deloitte, but in the PAS group at EY it's the same thing. We focus on Global Mobility. Everything from compliance to HR consulting. I have worked on equity engagements, international payroll, immigration assessments and applications. I assume Deloitte is the same. What are you interested in?
Yea, not sure about that. All of my engagements are working across PAS. I work with WFA folks quite a bit. My CCG is Mobility and WFA people. I agree, no one wants to do the compliance part of mobility, that's why they are focusing so hard on automating all of that. There is still quite a bit of advisory that goes on in the mobility side as well. Some times, it's just about making a quick buck though it seems. Like with all those dumb unemployment engagements. We were just a glorified call center.
I want to go into operating model design and workforce strategy including how clients use shared services, adopt new digital solutions , and upskilling employees. I’m a CPA but experience is less technical and has been more focused on this area.
How big is WFA? I can’t say on here since the practice is small and ppl may start putting two together. Is WFA hiring? I didn’t spot any on the career site.
