A whole barrel is a crazy amount of liquor. I like variety too much to commit to that much.

I do remember seeing full barrels of Jack Daniels at Costco years ago.

I guess to clarify, I meant through like a barrel pick group. I recently joined one in my neighborhood and they have a barrel of 1792 Full Proof on the way that I’ll get two bottles of.

My husband is super into bourbon and usually the barrel picks are intriguing because they are one of a kind. Not that means it will be good but they send 7-8 samples and then someone picks the one they want. So someone chose that one so you would hope it would be good vs the distillery just randomly bottling from a barrel.

I’m hoping to do a charity barrel next year with one of the shops I frequent, and trying to do Hubers. Going to raise money for the local food pantry

Why would a luxury watch brand make/sell connected or smart watches? What is the business reason for it? To me it just kills the brand value. For instance I was a big fan of Montblanc but after I see their smart watch line up I instantly devalued the brand in general. Same for Tag (tag is questionable anyways), or Breitling. At times I'm jealous of copywriters. At every shop I've been to, ADs are asked to do more jobs like animating & video editing on top of the usual concepting, design, comps, decks, presenting, & idea writeups while it seems the skills stay the same for CWs. It feels worse knowing there are good pro animators/editors/photographers looking for jobs. I'm sure there are CWs being asked to do additional jobs, I don't want to discount their struggles. Just needed to vent.
