How to write a cover letter?

I have an in person interview for Starbucks corporate retail location as a store manager. The job is located in San Diego, CA. I was told salary ranges from 70k-90k plus quarterly bonuses. Can anyone on here confirm from California?

What if a company didn't give salary break up in the offer letter and say 18 lpa with 10% TDS deductions and 6 months probation period. Please let me know the in hand salary...

Left MBB 2 years post Mba to pursue equivalent pay and amazing wlb in a “big old tech” strategy team (think IBM, Dell, HP). I thought boring work would be fine in the context but after 1 year it’s getting to me. How would you think about exit timing to avoid “leaving too fast” but also avoiding becoming branded as an old tech guy? Does the old tech experience look bad for FAANG-like prospects?

If I decline health insurance at IBM, do I get a cash payment? I have an offer from another firm that gives me $5k... does IBM give anything?

We all start our jobs full of hope and promise. That same hope and promise may still be there. However, the eventual grind or consistent overcommitment of anything will trigger you towards Burnout if you are not aware of them.

Be aware if you are consistently over-committing to something that will burn you out. Take breaks. Change your patterns. Whatever you need to do. Just don't overdo it.

Is anyone else facing the brunt of working in a service based company and trying to move to a startup product company being dragged down by the 90 days notice period.

I have had a couple of interviews with good startup product companies where the main issue is my 90 days of notice period. Most startups simply run away at the mention of 90 days NP.

Even established product companies shy away at this. Has anyone recently switched despite this long a notice period?
