Unpopular opinion but pharma. I’m happy here.

Pretty happy here, by advertising standards.

need advice. I have been working in an interim role as a portfolio manager. I was promised that the role would be mine. However, after doing the job for 2 months, I have been advised that we might not get the funding for the role and I might not get the raise and the title but my responsibilities will be the same. Its a political minefield. How should I back out elegantly that I need to be compensated fairly and competitively from this mess without burning any bridges

Anyone have a prior infection and then feel worse after the vaccine? I did j&j 5 days ago as a “booster” (rode natural antibodies) and have been having weird mild chest pains and dizzy / light headed since then. I felt awful the day after the jab (worse than my worst day when I had covid) and figured once that went away I would be fine but the chest pain and dizziness hasn’t gone away.

Does anyone know of where to find remote part time work opportunities for older Indian women? My mom was a part-time after school teacher but has not been doing that due to covid (dad is high risk). I’m having her do some online typing lessons to get her to be a faster typer, maybe find her a data entry gig. She does not want to do nanny’ing / babysitting. She’s a great teacher though and she’s trilingual (Telugu, hindi) - anyone know of where to find opportunities?

Did anyone else register for the CFA, but miss the “scheduling” deadline. I unfortunately did as I assumed after “registering” I was all set. After studying 300+ hours I’m unable to even get the chance to take the test without repaying the entire fee. Anyone have any suggestions, or been through a similar situation? It also seems incredibly unethical, as I don’t see the point in having a scheduling deadline 3 months before the actual exam? Am I being biased?
