I'm thinking rather than hire a part time experienced assistant, I may want to hire a paid intern, college senior who wants to learn business and is willing to work for less. Any thoughts on this?
Hello everyone! I accepted an internship that will end at the end of June. However, I also just got offered a summer internship that begins at start of June. Will I burn any bridges if I decide to quit the program early to work at the other agency?
I like both agencies, probably the summer internship more in terms of the work they produce. But, I also don't want to kill my chances of a potential full time role down the line at the internship I'm at now.
Should I start my career (as an intern) in a startup (less salary) or a big company (more salary) where I get converted to full time? PS: I need to pay my loans and need H1B visa.
Signing bonus as an undergrad intern in PI is 3k. Is that lower than normal? (I had heard higher)
The influencer marketing team at Real Chemistry is hiring for multiple roles from intern to Director level, with multiple entry level roles open. We work primarily with healthcare influencers, such as patients and physicians. Fully remote, fun team! https://www.realchemistry.com/careers
We all have that one staff/intern that is slow, lazy or both. Would you rather be dropped off on a deserted island with no human contact for 5 years or work with that person for 10 years on every job?
I'm getting really frustrated with my job
I keep getting told I haven't developed the skills expected by now
But I've just been given another 3 month project that could easily be done by an intern
How am I suppose to progress and develope when my workplace put 0 effort into any form of professional development
Why did I decide to intern in consulting 😭
Recruiter reached out about a role at a company I was fired from as an intern. The role is in another department than where I originally worked. This was 3 years ago.... do I have a shot?
Hi! I’m a copywriter graduating from Miami Ad School NY soon. Do you know any agencies in New York, or in the US in general, that are open to sponsoring international students after an internship?
Undergraduate Summer Internship.... Top 5 bank structured finance vs boutique consulting firm which is top in TMT, I want to go into consulting full-time - which will help get interviews at big firms come full-time recruiting?
Which agencies have a robust college internship program that doesn’t require any ad school experience? TIA!
Starting my job in public soon. What’s the deal with tattoos? Although things are still virtual, l’d like to start rebuilding my work wardrobe after losing a considerable amount of weight. I have an inner bicep tattoo, but would eventually like to get more visible tattoos. I typically wore long sleeves/sweaters when I was an intern, but it got pretty hot in the summer. Fully aware this is a “decision with consequences” but wondering if this is still something people worry about?
I am currently a young analyst in Consulting (1/3 of strategy work 2/3 of operations work so far) with some M&A internship. My goal is to eventually move to Corp Dev. I am enjoying my work so far so I don't wanna move if I don't need to, but, should I shift to a more finance role to be well positioned to make the jump or is it doable from Consulting?
Thanks in advance
Scrub intern here - when did you feel like you finally reached the threshold of killing the case? Did you all feel like you did as well as you could during your interviews? Trying improve out here 😩
Hey 🐠.. I’m looking to exit consulting and transition into a rotational program post MBA. Can I do a 1Y program or does that track require an internship?
Manager who’s new to the firm puts a shity review for staff1 who took ownership of a complicated engagement to completion (senior left the last month before filing 1st yr client) Are you kidding me?!
What sort of career growth and opportunities exist for people skilled in business intelligence/data visualization?
Manhattan 🐟 flying home - horrible crash on RFK, nearly all westbound traffic is halted. Midtown tunnel/Queensboro still pretty jammed as a result. Get a drink at the airport rather than sit in this
Honestly what's your thoughts on brand purpose? I have a concept that I'm presenting this week which is heavily based on a good cause but connected to the brand.
Any firms doing a lot of compliance or privacy work on the west coast? My firm doesn't do much so I'm considering a change.
Recently met someone who convinced another employee to marry them for the GC. It took my by surprise, but has anyone ever heard/seen something similar?
How much do you guys use your work laptop as a personal pc? Obviously nothing stupid, but I’m trying to avoid buying another one as my current is dying.

Girls not even kidding - but is the world full of classic narcissists or are we getting attracted to these men more?
Guess another move, which can have a blowing impact. Not scaring anyone.
OPT is a regulatory program unlike H1b which is legislative which gives more power and less legal battles if he really suspends it
Have there been discussions about racial bias and ways improve diversity and inclusion at work? Would hope there have been at least a few initiatives
Hi 🐠, I'm an intern that started at BDO this January. I will also be interning at a Big 4 this summer before graduating with a BBA this fall. Heard from some of my alumni pals that's its better to start full time in a Big 4 (better training, better brand, better exit ops etc) and then, if anything, work several years in the Big 4 before switching to industry or a midsize. Is this true?
P.S. So far training at BDO has been almost non-existent, unfortunately (but maybe due to covid, idk)
Be safe out there!
I have an off topic Q but below is me and my 16570!
What wallet do you all have? In the market for a new one. Thanks!
EY folks - I Interviewed with EY, completed 3 rounds and the recruiter was very prompt in exchanging emails. After the 3rd interview, I have been waiting and trying to reach them for 3 weeks now, no response. The interview rounds really went well and I was expecting to hear positive things. Is this normal during the holidays? Surprised at this very strange treatment
How hard is it to actually get a job at big tech with only 2 YOE?
I’ve applied to many without referrals and get no where
