I had talent specialist who works with a company find me on LinkedIn saying my profile looked like a good fit for an open role. Wouldn’t they have a number of applicants for this? It is a larger company say 1000 people. The conversation with her went really well and I’ve met with the hiring manager and one other person yesterday waiting to hear. But my question is, why would they need to reach out to people who haven’t applied for the role?

Hello. I am having difficulty getting a manager role at my company. I have an MBA, a Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma, 6 years manufacturing experience in nutraceuticals. They say I’m not ready, but the managers above me do not have degrees or certifications. What should I do? How do I get what I’m looking for?

Vague question I know- but what could someone expect salary wise from a sort of start up, 100-200 employees that’s raise around 95m in funding, most recently 35m from series D. A manufacturing as a service company. 5yoe in Business Ops and Strategy role, not director level but just below. Really all the info I’ve got at the moment.

Is 2 months into a new firm too early to leave for a better suited role. Landed in a role that is very different to what was laid out in the interviews, don’t think I can just stick it out as the work is mind numbing.

What kind of role would I be good for - audit and consulting experience- want something that I can use transferrable skills but not compliance, and more low-key, any ideas?

I have offers from JP Morgan and Johnson controls and I am confused in choosing between both. Both are offering same package 15LPA fixed and Johnson controls also provides a variable of 1.4LPA , my YOE is 5.6. Johnson controls is offering a better tech stack. Position in Johnson controls - Senior DevOps Engineer and in JP Morgan the work could involve monitoring and pretty monotonous. Could someone please comment your thoughts?

It's just really difficult to fall asleep and in turn, it's so hard to wake up in the morning and I'm exhausted during the day. It is hard to explain, but I'm tired enough and want to sleep at a decent time (between 10-11pm), but part of me is also very anxious and overwhelmed with having to restart a new day.
