I’m sick of living in NYC but can’t go anywhere.

I accepted a new job back in the summer of 2020 that required relocation for the office opening in Jan 2021. Office is still closed and I haven’t moved. Now we are rolling out a new plan that you just need to be near an office but only go in a few times a year for specific things. There is an office close that wouldn’t require me to move and I’d prefer to work there given the situation but HR is still insisting I’ll eventually need to move. This is so silly 🙃

I have a situation where to colleagues at my level aren't communicating and its impacting my work because I rely on them having their stuff aligned and done before I can do mine. I don't know how to resolve this, but i feel like I'm the messenger and I can't be - they need to figure out whatever their beef is with each other. Should I try to act mediator or escalate to our boss to do some messaging? I don't have full faith in our boss, but I also don't want to be stuck on the middle. Help🥺

I'm work at a senior level in product management, I have around 4 years of experience in the field. I'm severely underpaid and feel quite undervalued by the company.
