Anyone in SF down to case prep? Mainly for MBB style cases

What jobs are halfway between Consulting and Industry? Starting to find MBB unsustainable from a WLB pov. Was in industry before this and found it too slow. What’s a good in-between career that pays well, hours aren’t too terrible, maybe is more medium-paced?

MBB🐠, I’m at 3 YOE. I don’t want to get a MBA to lateral, but also don’t want to start at entry level. Are any of your firms heavily recruiting for the role just below post-MBA right now?

Left MBB 2 years post Mba to pursue equivalent pay and amazing wlb in a “big old tech” strategy team (think IBM, Dell, HP). I thought boring work would be fine in the context but after 1 year it’s getting to me. How would you think about exit timing to avoid “leaving too fast” but also avoiding becoming branded as an old tech guy? Does the old tech experience look bad for FAANG-like prospects?

How is the hiring scenario of MBB at ISB? How many years of experience in a candidate are they willing to accept (assuming relevant pre mba role, for instance, say in ZS)?

We always keep hearing about the bad WLB in MBB, especially BCG. Want to know if it's actually true, or is it an untrue rumor spread by people who couldn't get into these companies.

(Note - I am talking about incremental WLB issues, over and above the issues at Deloitte S&O, Accenture Strategy, etc. as these issues are common in management consulting)

I have COVID for the first time rn, but I'm currently in MBB case interview mode, so I want to give my body time to sleep so I can rest and do well, but even with sleep aids, my mind is wide awake and wants to convert random improper fractions to decimals in my head, market sizing drills, and more 🤕

The CPE courses that i pursued on june 30 got credited to next fiscal year

I raised a complaint to the us learner team and they reverted my credit points back to be compliant as of june 30th 2021

Today am shockingly getting an emAil that i am non compliant. In the system, my points have been again moved to next fiscal year

MBB/ Big4 seem to use written case interviews lately. They give you a brief and an hour or so for preparation. You then present your case and provide recommendations. Anyone have samples for me?
