If you want more flexibility as far as places you can work, and more opportunities for growth, id recommend you go for nursing instead. If your heart is set on becoming an RT, I would do radiation therapy instead of xray, OR do xray school and immediately find a way to cross train into MRI. Do not stay in xray. Its severely underpaid.

The pay is outstanding and the work can be really rewarding. If you have the opportunity, definitely get into radiology.

I wouldn't say the pay is outstanding. But I make enough to live comfortably. I enjoy my job, adore my coworkers, and have a great schedule.

But xray school was tough. Use the arrt.org to find accredited schools in your area.

Looking for a quick prep game rounding decimals 5th grade math

My 3 year old takes private swim lessons at the local school but his teacher that he’s known for 5 months found another job. His new swim teacher seems nice but my son hates him, asks us nonstop during the week if it’s swim lesson day, has thrown a fit for the first few minutes of every lesson the last 4 times but then seems to have a fun time (I sit and watch). I ask him what’s going on and if the new teacher is mean, and he says no the new teacher is nice but he doesn’t like him...cont’d

Thanks

Looking ahead a little…I had to pay full sticker for school but landed a big law job. For those who were in similar situations how did you go about paying off your loans?

Did you do pretty much split your salary: half to live and half to loans for about 2yrs, or did you stretch it out further?

Hey beautiful people,
I’m 27Y and work in tech. Unfortunately my carpal tunnel is getting worst slowly. I’m worry that I still have like 45 years more to be retired and can’t stop working because I have a f* mortgage to pay 😭 I have a super ergonomic workstation, but I know my hand needs a long rest, and I can’t do it… Does anyone relate? What do you recommend?

Physical therapists…
What city do you practice in? How many years of experience? Current salary? What setting do you practice in? What are the differences in pay between different settings in your area (ie. outpatient ortho versus home care).
Personally I practice out patient ortho in Rochester, NY making $65,000 annually with a good benefit package. 6 years of exp. And not entirely sure how much more I could make in home care/other settings.
