Pros to EJ: Have my own office, a year or two away from partnership, great office setting and client satisfaction.

Can someone help me understand the difference between lost profits and economic loss. It seems you can recover under lost profits in cases where you can’t recover economic loss. What are the ethics of using projects made for a company as an in-house designer on your portfolio? I remade a good portion of our website this year and I’d like to include it but I’m not sure what the thoughts are on that vs. a freelance project.

What's the industry's view on the CISM cert? I know the CISSP is like the gold standard but what about the CISM? Lots of higher level roles require one or the either so it seems like there is value?

Just passed the CISSP with a mid-term (3-5 years) goal of moving into an ISSM-like or Cyber Risk role. I also have a PMP and various other certs and non-technical degrees. Any advice on what’s next?

Ive been in Federal IT audit (FISCAM, FISMA and SOC) side for 3+ years and just want to start in more technical side of the house. I learned alot about auditing IT controls but want to explore more technical job and just dont know what is out there. What career path do you guys recommend in cybersecurity? The whole point of me switching career to obtain an IT degree is to be able to work remotely. I am currently working on a cybersecurity degree but my school also has a degree for cloud computing with 6 more cloud related certs. Don’t know if I should switch majors. The things that matter the most to me are the ability to work remotely, Pay, stress level , if I need to work on weekends( or wake up early to accommodate clients from another time zone) .
