You'll work 16-20 hr days for 2 years. If you survive, it becomes 40-45 hrs. You probably won't survive though. Pay is great, but not enough to for all the therapy you're gonna need after.

For literally everyone: HR, internal finance, PMO, janitorial. High pay and long hours aren’t features of the job; they are the culture.

Small campus, you'll need to wear a uniform, and the heat and humidity can be pretty brutal during the summer, but Charleston as a whole is a fun place. Oh, you aren't talking about the military college? Nevermind, then.

I’m 24 with already 55k saved up in retirement (between 401k and Roth IRA) and currently contributing $18k yearly. I’m not near the 401k max yearly contribution and have some extra money I can contribute. Do you recommend I up my 401k contribution or open a brokerage account and invest there? Not trying to tie too money into retirement. Emergency fund is taken care of.
