Help & suggestions please. I don’t have parents and recently had a kid. I am having trouble in recovery and my daughter is a preemie. I am going back to work in December but can’t send kid to daycare due to health. My aunt who raised me wants to visit and help me out , see places too. With the travel ban going away , can she get a visitor visa so that I have someone reliable in the house along with the new nanny. Are visitor visas possible to get now ? MIL is another option but she is aged.

Has anyone ever had to cancel a flight booked thru the chase portal with UR points? Have you been able to get the points back? I called their travel line and they said they couldn’t do anything from their end& I’d need to cancel thru the airline, Spirit, which I did. Now I’m not sure if they’ll be reimbursed. Any help appreciated!

Slight vent: I had saved up a bunch of PTO to travel a ton this year (long-term project) which obviously got kicked to the dust and I have a bunch expiring this year because of that. Was looking forward to next year (including a family trip that’s been on the calendar for 2 years), but 3 people just left the team, only 1 will be replaced, and 3 more announced parental leave in spring. I have go lives through February and feel like I’m sprinting a marathon and will never get a break now.

Any serious lifter here? How do you split your workouts (full body, push/pull/legs,etc)? I've always done 4 day split but with travel I only have access to real weights Fri-Sun (cont)

For BCG, I've traveled 3 times but not a lot of our team has. Can ride biz since it's billed to case and mostly traveled for team event or dinner. One time, we even stayed at a 5 star hotel so that was a nice perk!

While I’m excited about the “tenured A/C offsite”, I’m frustrated that CV is expecting us to share a hotel room with colleagues.

Based on all of the sources (eg friends who work at a different company, CVers who have worked elsewhere) that I talked with, an employer should not expect employees to share hotel rooms during business travels. It just makes me feel belittled as a CV employee.
