I am interviewing for a 12-month remote design contract with McGraw Hill and their cap is $55K (with benefits), though not on salary. This feels a little low to me, especially after setting aside ~28% for self-employment taxes, but it would pivot my career more into edTech which I would love. I recently got a very good offer from a Product company but the job role is Salesforce Support Manager. Though I don't mind being in support vertical but I am worried that I might drift away from SFDC Domain and get involved more in the Support process and eventually take my career away from Salesforce.
