I've worked at the same engineering firm for 4 years. I'm currently making $161k with only a $750 bonus, but excellent vacation (4 weeks, cash out anytime, rolls over indefinitely), 45 hours a week. I have an interview with a recruiter at Guidehouse this week for a Technical Project Manager role. It seems to be focused in the government space and requires a security clearance. What sort of salary and benefits could I expect for this sort of role at Guidehouse?

I’m anxious ambivalent too. Makes sense. Lot of abandonment issues from childhood. Mother had borderline personality disorder. Both of them disowned me when i came out as gay. Incredibly insecure about my appearance so I’m constantly bracing for impact you could say even in a relationship.
I think being aware really helped me and also when I started dating, anyone that smelled avoidant I steered far away.

D1, we are almost twins! The book Attached is a little outdated but really good. I see attachment styles play out every day in my marriage. It’s nice to know what’s going on, even if changing your attachment style is veeeery difficult. It’s most useful, I think, in choosing a partner.

I feel like my insecurity comes out as imposter syndrome at work. I get so anxious wondering what people at the firm think of me. And in a gossipy political firm like Deloitte that can be bad.
I’ve only read attached and information / results based on that. Where are you all taking this test above? What’s “disorganized” - both dismissive and anxious? Anxious / ambivalent don’t sound like they should be interchangeable - anxious people are almost never ambivalent about anything?
