Anyone is compensation able to share data sources for campus rates? We have historically used NACE, but their participant listing has dropped in recent years. What else are professional firms using? Also, any sources for India?
I have heard about some people receiving revised compensation letters, what is this about & is it specific to some grade?

If anyone wants to be a Forensic Accountant for federal Law Enforcement in DC (not remote) PM me for a referral - Deloitte is actively hiring for this position. You’ll be working active money laundering cases alongside federal LE agents. CPA strongly preferred, some audit experience a plus too. CFE, CAMS, or other related certs also a bonus. Must be able to pass a security clearance.
Received two verbal offers, still awaiting comp from one, but would love everyone’s perspectives! One is from an aerospace firm, one is from a pretty well known tech company (non FAANG, ~5k employees), both fully remote.
What is the salary for s2 risk assurance in Los Angeles? Risk assurance not on the IT side. I might transfer from core to risk & wonder if I should see a pay increase.
Always a student. This helps me relate to my own. Mistakes. Confusion. Oopsies like giving the wrong answer when we KNOW it. Learning keeps me off any high horse because sure as the world I’d otherwise get knocked down. We are all students in our classrooms. An indirect bonus is that the connection we make by remembering what it’s like to be a student helps us manage the class better. We relate. We admit. We connect.

I had two technical rounds in tcs last month and now I have got the offer letter from tcs.
But I found one thing unusual that I did not have any salary negotiation call neither any hr round.
They released offer letter directly on ibegin portal with 60% hike on my current ctc .
Should I consider this as a fake recruitement.
Please let me know your thoughts.
Hello, Please help me to understand what is "the Delivery Discretionary Bonus Plan" in Oracle Financial Services and how it works. It is not listed in my CTC components. Is this is general practices to not to list "the Delivery Discretionary Bonus Plan" in CTC components? Would we generally get 100% of "the Delivery Discretionary Bonus Plan" every year. This is of IC4 band.
I was wondering how accurate indeed salary estimates are? I live in a LCOL area in PA, and the estimate for the company I’m interviewing with is 67k - 85k. They’re a relatively big tech company and I’m applying to be a Business Development Specialist. Thank you in advance!

Does anyone out there agree that so much of the violence we are seeing in schools and society is a spiritual problem and not necessarily a political one? I’m not opposed to gun reform, but I think as long as a human being desires to hurt others, keeping people safe will be very difficult.
I’m getting married next year and haven’t started planning yet. How much did you spend on your wedding, what year was it, guest count, and any other details that help contextualize the cost?

We’re looking for a new legal assistant. There’s a communication and micromanaging issue within my team where the partner doesn’t trust (past) assistant(s) with basic tasks and instead he spoon feeds instructions haphazardly leaving things out and being inconsistent. This leads to the assistant relying on me to double check everything and clarify instructions. Before we hire someone knew, I’m trying to get ahead of this problem and put together a training manual. Any advice on what to include?
Nerdy question, but anyone have a naming convention/nomenclature that actually works/people stick to? I’ve tried to simplify as much as possible and I still get the most nondescript files back...
Wanted to share a few ideas on risk management based on what I’m learning through study and hard knocks. The intent here is to help people think about how to stay in the game long term. If you’ve YOLO’d your account up 300% in six months, that’s awesome. Start thinking about keeping those wins.
Three comments to follow:
1) Why limiting losses is so important
2) One way to think about trade sizing
3) Thinking about trade size and stop losses based on trade type
Hi – Does anyone know what typical terms /rates for a commercial real estate renovation loan would be? I own a commercial property in Pennsylvania (3 residential units & 1 commercial unit). I’d like to renovate the building, and would like to know how much I could afford based on monthly payments. Can these types of loans be stretched to 10 or 20 years?
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Thoughts on PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP certs? I have approximately 9 years of HR exp and my bachelors and MBA. Been debating on whether or not I need to fulfill my urge to get a certification. Wanted to get some thoughts around whether you have a similar background and opted to or opted to not get their certification? Thanks!
Hello everyone! My co-worker and I are preparing for the SHRM certification exam and Hoping to take it in December. I’m looking to purchase the SHRM learning system books from someone that has already taken the exam this year. Can someone point me in the right direction?
First time poster here!
After spending 4 years as a mid-level ops manager, I tried to break into HR through talent acquisition. Now after 6 years in TA, I've had a hard time getting out of it. My goal was always to get into a more broad HRBP position, but I've since worked for smaller orgs without a solid HR career path. When I ask about my career goals, they keep telling me, "Soon!" Or "Maybe in 6 months!"
I'm testing SPHR in June. Any advice for securing the type of role I'm aiming for?
New fish looking for career guidance.
I'm a corporate recruiter with 3 years of experience. Finishing my degree in HRM 5/2022. I'm thinking of getting my SHRM -CP shortly after graduation.
I'm not sure of where to go after that, but I doubt I will stick with recruiting or my current firm.
Has anyone here started off in recruiting and branched out to other HR functions? Do you like your new role? Do you wish you stuck with recruiting?
Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. I was hoping to get some thoughts on this from others? Thanks
Need insight please. I am currently a Recruiter and have extensive experience in that but also a few in HR general. Trying to think of my career path. What are the pros and cons of specializing in recruitment versus going into HR? Advancement opportunities, compensation, etc
Looking to finally go get my SPHR having the PHR for the past 6 years. Still value and pursuing and obtaining?
Any kind hearted HR professional from KPMG Canada could refer me for an entry level talent acquisition role?

What type of job boards ninche or not do you find to be the most useful for the talent you hire and what type of roles are they best for?
I don't know if you Recruiters follow "funny recruiter" on Instagram but it's a MUST. This is a good reminder to please be kind when rejecting candidates.
I had an offer from a startup as a tech recruiter. They mentioned in my offer I will be eligible for bonuses and will be organized by the CEO in the first 3 months. I get my actual contract and there is no mention of a bonus structure. I asked them about it and they said it has to be developed with the hr manager, who will be on-boarded to the team in two weeks.
Does this seem right to anyone ?
Hi everyone! Looking for some advice - we have had some cases where the candidate that interviewed is not the same as the one who joined 🤨 how are your organizations ensuring ID checks ar interview stage?
Anyone has idea about HR Assistant ll position ( HR operations admin) role in Amazon Canada? It requires HR data management, roaster management, payroll entry to HRIS etc.
They are offering 18.89CAD/hr for contractual position. 10hrs shift, WFH & 4 days a week!
I know it’s an entry level position but I need an entrance to HR career since I’m a newcomer in Canada!

Really need expert advice if it’s a good offer?

Hi! I’m an HRBP trying to hire for a Sr IT director in a logistics company. What all do you consider when trying to calculate the right rate of pay for such position. Any sites you use as a resource?
I found a new job (huzzah!) and turned in my 2 weeks notice yesterday. But I started feeling crummy last night and went to the doctor for a COVID test today. Lab results already came back positive. So now I feel super guilty about basically calling in sick to my last two weeks of work...should I try and push out my start date to help out current employer? Feel like current supervisor is going to throw a hissy fit.
