Is it crazy to give up a counsel role at lower tier biglaw for an associate role at higher tier biglaw? Pay (and hours) would be slightly more as an associate. It’s really more about better practice fit. Asking for a friend. 😅

Thoughts on the federal government’s direct hiring authority? I think it’s counterproductive and potentially unethical.
