Anyone keep cash on hand at home - and if so how much? I just closed some accounts to consolidate and want to keep cash for emergencies

Hell no - you have been watching too much Fox News - the caravan isn’t going to get you ;)

I keep about $2-3k in the gun safe in case I have to bail out one of the kids. So far only had to use it for the “oh shit, no time to get to the ATM” problems

Only gold bars and precious stones in case I have to bug out in a hurry when the SHTF.

I keep at least a few hundred in my safe. Not because I want it in case I have to bug out of town. It's because my kids usually need money for school and they don't tell me until they are running out the door to school.

I am accepting donations to those of you who keep $2-$3k on hand! 😉

Gold coins worth $5k, $10k in cash and 5000 rounds of .223

The can be used as currency when the shit hit the fan ;)

Whatever is under the couch cushions

I have a few hundred GBP which I can NEVER find the day before I need to fly to London. So I end up having to stop and convert. And when I get home I end up adding what I have leftover to the pile I miraculously find on my return. Only to misplace before I leave again. But USD? Nope

Whatever I toss in the spare change jar. Maybe $200 all in pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters

May want to check your insurance policy limit. The policy doesn’t usually go too high. Just a thought if you have a theft or fire.

Here in hurricane country, it’s always smart to keep $2-3k someplace safe that you can get to easily if a hurricane shuts down power (=ATMs) for a week or so. Just don’t keep it in an obvious place in the house - like a safe - that burglars will hit immediately.

I keep $2-3k just in case.

A few hundred $, but also £ and € so I can hit the ground running when I travel.

Keep cash in foil in freezer, you never know when you need it

About $1,000 in USD, and about 1,000 euros in gun safe.

I thought my money was pretty well hidden in the house but the one day I was not home and I had the dog at the dog sitter (Thanksgiving), my house was burglarized and they ransacked the house and did find the money. Wherever you keep your money make sure it is an extremely well hidden or locked up place. (By the way the freezer is the number one hiding spot for jewelry and money).

Hey Recruiters! I need some advice / insight-
I have been in media planning and strategy for 2 years now (straight out of college) but am looking to make a career change. I've always been interested in Talent Acquisition but don't know where to even begin making that jump. I would love to stay in the Advertising industry but want to try out the Talent Acquisition area. Does anyone have any tips on how to get started making that jump?

I’m a ServiceNow Developer/Consultant with 2 YOE, but I have not studied.
I have the ITIL and the CSA certification and I’m not coding for my developer role by
Accenture. I live in Germany and earn 45k, I really like the job and I’m good at it but I’m really unhappy with the salary. What do you guys think, is it possible to get more salary at a different company, when yes what do you think how much will the salary increase. I speak fluently German, English and Hindi and I’m 25 years old.

Hello Everyone. I have been promised an on-site opportunity to Europe in Feb 2022. My visa was also set to be processed but then the company stopped with this and started stating that it is pending for approval from client. It’s been more than 6 months now. Can I anybody help me? Is it realistic to wait for this opportunity or should be changing my company as I am currently in this company only for the sake of on-site which was promised to me
