I have seen the 2000-01 and 2008 recessions in 2 different industries and now 3rd.I have seen the best and the worst of times.I have been at jobs for 10 years with no bonus and no raises.The problem is that for the last 9+ years we are living in a speculation where everyone believes they deserve bonus and a raise every year and to make it to M/SM by year 5 and get other people do the work. They haven't however learned how to survive and pick up skills which they will allow them to rise up when need comes.

Do recruiters get rewarded for bringing you on board for less pay?

Hi! Realize this isn’t an immigration forum but hoping someone else knows more than I do (been googling but can’t decipher). My boyfriend’s I-94 and I-797 are valid through July 2021, however his H1B stamp expired in May this year. He’s been in the US since the EO went into effect. Is there any possible way he can travel to India and come back? Will need to be there for about a month for family reasons. Thanks!
