Was reached out to by a Vynamic recruiter Really want to get into healthcare-specific consulting, but would love to move into this space along with a bump. I joined D's Workday practice as a C and been here ~8 months. I'm getting an offer from a lesser known practice with a 66% increase and a promo to SC. I currently love my job and team. The only motivation to jump is the money. If i stayed at D i'd prob get promoted next year and yet it wont match the salary i'm getting offered today. The money would allow me to reach my goals a lot faster, but is right to move just for the money? I know the work at the other firm will be less interesting.
Does someone know Average salary/increment for each position in consulting at IQVIA India?

I am two months short of completing 2 years of service at the current firm. I got a good offer and looking to move. This means I will have to pay back about $6k in joining bonus. Is there anyway I can negotiate this? I have so much overtime work hours that can currently be tracked to about 500+ hours for this year alone. What are somethings I should be aware of when paying back the joining bonus?
I’ve been through 5+ weeks of interviews with a company that will IPO next year and they did a bait and switch on me with the offer: it was advertised as “Head of” and then during the offer-walk-through-meeting today they said “oh btw we changed the title to ‘Senior Manager’ for this role”. They offered me a salary I made 4 years ago as a manager. They offered stock options with an exercise price TBD 1 year from now…which is when they’re hitting IPO. Is that normal for stock options?
I am looking for moving forward in my career. My background is as follows: - bachelors in environmental health and safety engineering (EHS) - masters in safety sciences 6.5 years work experience - worked in distribution in EHS for a year - worked in EHS Consulting for 3 years - currently working in insurance consulting in risk management Want to get opinions on next move. Living in TX now. Insurance pays alright but my last raise was less than inflation rate and salary growth is low.

pwc foreign Global Mobility offices (IAS) have apparently been asked to confirm if they will remain with pwc or be part of a sale of the GLOBAL MOBILITY practice (presumably the US one). Seems odd, to say the least. I feel for my fellow IAS colleagues (I’m sure the partners past and present may get a sweet bonus / retention payment … others 🤔??).

Have any of you ever been in a situation where you are on an hourly contract and they don’t want you to bill more than 40 hours a week, and instead of paying you your hourly rate for the extra hours, they try to knock a few hours off of a slower day? If so, what did you do.

How are folks thinking about permanent life insurance? 45, making let’s say for example (not my exact numbers): $1M per year, not yet vested in pension. Was thinking need to replace the post tax take home, about $550k NPV’ed at 5% to age 55, so that’s like $3.2M. Maybe pension is worth $2.5M so I think that means I should have $5.7 total you want death to have no financial impact. Also was going to do $1M of that in perm w/ LTC rider. Sound right?
FAANG good MBB bad, am I doing it right
