24 year old senior consultant in corporate tax, on track to become a manager next July. Only thing is I don’t want to be in tax for the rest of my career.. any good exit paths that anyone can recommend? Was offered a senior accounting position in NYC for 100k and a 20% discretionary bonus. My EY raise in October will put me at 91k. I feel like 100k base is low given all the benefits at EY (ex: phone bill, internet bill, fitness fund) but the recruiters are saying 100k for someone with 3 years experience is unheard of. Any thoughts?
