Sounds like a protein bar/powder. And for that reason I'm out. 🙅🏼♂️
Right, cause Carat is such an awesome and meaningful agency name.. 😏
Yeah, they definitely need to rebrand. Hope it's not some dumb name like sappingfish or whatever.
It's a French acronym and pronounced like the name Kara. Still better than sappy fish. Aside from name, Carat is not that great of an agency. Mostly hollow and skillless hacks up top.
Carat, I know, but the point is nobody cares about the explanation behind it:) It still comes across as a crappy name like many others, including SapientRazorfish 😏
Had a friend go to work there. Believe they just lost some business and laid folks off.
It's a small digital (I think) agency within the Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN). The leading agency is Carat. Honestly, I work at Carat and we never crossed paths in any way or form. I believe they're from Europe and does not have a big footprint in the US. Carat's conflict agency is Vizeum/360i. DAN is probably the 5th biggest network.
Touché. Screw them both.
I worked at isobar in sf in 2011. Left after 8 months - everything turned out to be a fake project or pitch, even though they were presented like real briefs with actual budgets. I found that to be bullshit and I left. Overall I remember the terms 'sinking ship' and 'shitshow' being thrown around a lot... Hope that helps!
Is this isobar in America or elsewhere?
It's in America: http://www.isobar.com/us/en/contact/
@Carat1 Hahaha I'm sold
LMAO @ Copywriter 1
Thanks for the shout out @Carat1 and @AD1.
Luckily our name is pronounced as it's spelled (thank goodness) :P
@Copywriter1 That does help a lot actually. It looked too good to be true. I'll take the interview anyway - practice makes perfect.
