Nice! The post animation looks good!

I’m from a low-income family, the only one who went to college) and already make more @25 (140k) than my blue-collar parents ever did in their life. There is clear resentment, judgment, jealousy from family regards to my life/ income to where I stopped sharing vacation plans/ posting about my adventures. Has anyone else been in this position? How do you manage it?
It’s so simple. The data backs it up. Profits support it. Yet somehow, there are still some highly educated and compensated leaders at a few companies trying to force people back into offices.
I am on my first business trip since 2020! My team has been working in average 60 hours a week. This week some of us left the office at around 6:30pm to go have dinner and then watch a play here in Chicago. This morning the partner sends out an email saying that we are all on a business trip and not on vacation. We should focus in getting work done and not go to entertainment venues. What the hell? Should I send out a reply with my resignation?
I just received an offer within the industry and I'm excited to join. That said, they have come in at the bottom of my range (I said $320k when I started talking with them in December, and upgraded that to $350k based on market movements since then) I'm particularly bothered by the clawback on my bonus payments until my LTIP kicks in. Below I'm attaching my redacted offer letter and draft response. Looking for feedback on my response (whether reasonable, any improvements). Thanks.
To the people who don’t want to forgive student loans, but do believe in funding welfare programs (specifically the ones that only low income people have access to.. not funding for schools/ libraries), why is it that you don’t believe in helping people who exhausted every opportunity to get an education and attempt to be a productive member of society, but you do believe in helping the other people? I’m genuinely curious so please don’t be disrespectful in the comments.
Is there a way to resign without working the 2 weeks while not burning bridges? I have been having a hard time with the people on this project, never experienced that with previous projects.
Since being at home, my SO has asked me for help on her work consistently. I spend at least an hour every day helping her with data analysis or just being a sounding board for her to throw ideas of off. She gets irritated when I don’t have the time to help or sit down with her. We are both consultants at different firms and industries. Has anybody else feel like they’re helping their SO do his/her work more often than before? What strategies have helped to manage SO expectations?
I GOT THE LEGENDARY CORNER SUITE 😍
Can someone please honestly let me know what’s going on with Ukraine and Russia and how that affects us in the US?
My Senior Manager is going through a really rough time and has turned to drinking. There have been times where they showed up to the client site drunk and I had to take care / cover for them and (cont
Hot take (potentially): Austin has got to be the most overrated city in the US right now. Just got back from a 10 day trip there and wow. Tiny downtown, food isn’t that great and the traffic is awful for its size
Wtf is up with all these announcements of the the employer you picked on LinkedIn? I am 33 and don’t understand this? All of sudden everyone thinks they are Lebron James and the decision? Gtfoh...
