Any advice on getting a sales job in tech industry without having to take a pay cut? I’m currently working for a service company upselling/cross selling an account list as well as searching for net-new clients. I manage a book that generates around $2m annually. I’m a top performer where I’m at currently but everything I’ve seen that has ever even considered me was a pay cut or maybe the same. Is there anyway I can transition into a tech company that wouldn’t mean taking a cut? 70k base 140k OTE

I just don’t want to go anymore. I’ve been awake almost 24hrs but I know if I don’t someone will call, someone will forget administrator don’t go home, they don’t rest they worry ALL the time. 2.5h commute, a small child, and sick dog, and a full time student. I need more money. Daycare is sooo expensive that’s why I can’t quit the waiting list is 2yrs he will be headed to middle school lol. Okay rant over time to make the doughnuts

Is Cyntexa worth joining? Please help me out with the pros and cons.

Those who switched from audit to fp&a - could you provide any tips on how to tailor the resume to get interviews? I’m a senior at B4 with CPA and have applied 90+ companies but no interviews yet. In my resume I highlighted my experience in reviewing budget to actual variances, forecast models, valuation reports, using excel, etc., which I think is relevant to fp&a. How should I further polish my resume to increase my chances of getting interviews? TIA!

Currently employed at a smaller firm, therefore I am more hands on with my audit projects then other firms. I just finished my FIRST audit job, and I actually feel like I did a good job considering..

I have quitting guilt. I start a new job a couple of weeks after the new year and I am procrastinating putting in my two weeks because I feel bad for my teams. Recently in my office two other seniors have just left and they are now hiring contractors to keep the teams afloat.

OK I want feedback! Not from you guys, from my staff 😜 we don't have 360 feedback at my firm. Any staff here who can tell me how they would feel if senior reached out to them with a short survey looking at what they did well and what they could improve on? (we are no longer in busy season, would take probably 10 minutes per staff I worked with). Questions would likely be what did I do that was most helpful as a staff, what did I do that decreased efficiency or stressed you out, what have(cont)

Will I seem like a jerk and risk being able to boomerang if I put in notice before big audit client? I won’t know I got the job until 2 weeks before then and new job would start when the audit starts.
