Thoughts on an exit to Sales Operations / Deal Desk roles at tier 1/2 tech & hot startups? I’ve heard mixed feedback including these roles are back-office, not good enough for actual sales and not skilled enough for finance/strategy, etc — but also heard the above mention is ignorant hate, these roles could be quite lucrative in their own right, etc. I’m coming from an unbiased angle hoping to see if this type of exit is right for me!
