It’s a university grad position. And it’s remote.

Additional Posts in Salary Negotiations

In spite of stellar performance, my request to reprice my role was denied. They're $20k off on base salary for market, our asset size, and experience but say they’re on target. I found out that one of my new hires, who has half my experience and 1/4 of my responsibility is earning just 4k less than I am. They justify this with the 10k bonus I receive. My job reports to the board and is critical at the juncture we’re at as a company. They rave about me but can't pay fairly, and they won't budge.

I started as entry level customer support, was promoted after less than a year and then promoted again about a year later to Operations Manager at my current job. I was offered 60k to start and after 2 years with no raise due to COVID was offered a 3% but was able to negotiate 8% with a promise that it'd be revisited. Shortly after, our Director left and I took on his responsibility with no comp increase. He made close to 100k and am unsure what to ask for or how to during my comp review tmrw.

How much salary does a Senior Performance Engineer with 12 years of experience get in Melbourne, Australia?

Recently ( as of May 22nd, 2022) I was told my promotion was put in as a “request”.

After a brief discussion with the HR Director; I was told that said promotion could easily be put off until October…

There’s a seriously lack of role clarity; I’m consistently being tasked to do things that outside of my immediate skill set/job description.

Let me be clear; I have no problem with this, however when the pay doesn’t match…This leaves me feeling burned out most days.

I am a Sales Support Engineer (Applications Engineer) with 2 YOE. I am thinking about making a change because my job is no longer challenging, and there isn’t much growth opportunity in my company. I love my team, but I feel like I may need to move on. I am at 70k a year and have been told time and time again that I have learned faster than anyone they have seen and am a top performer. Hello, I realize I'm being underpaid at my current role. Based on my research, I think I should be paid at a minimum 15-25% higher based on research. My research included talking to two different recruiters, glassdoor and a salary website.

I like the job (I like the work, people, and work-life balance). I would like the employer to bump up the salary, what is a good way to approach this subject with my boss? thanks for your advice.

Hello, I need advice on salary negotiations at my current employer. Got offered a HR management role @ $62k a year. The average salary in SLC is $73k. Do you think that I could make the point that as a 22 year old, I plan to be on my parents insurance for the next 4 years until I can’t be anymore, to negotiate a higher salary? I’m not costing the company insurance, so they can afford to pay me more is my reasoning. Am I crazy or does this have some substance behind it and how would I even start that conversation? Any advice appreciated. I make 56k now, looking to be around 60
