Anyone know how the Muslim community is in Denver? Are they pretty active? And what ethnicities would you find there?

Somali, Pakistani, Palestinian, North Africans, and Afghans. Some mosques are more active than others especially South of Denver.

Would you consider it a big community

Depends where you're coming from. It doesn't compare to NYC, Bay area, or even Dallas but it's grown a ton in the last 10 years or so. The larger, more active mosques are in the suburbs.

I'd recommend checking it out for a week and attending events at some of the local mosques. You can also get an idea of the neighborhoods near the mosques.

Has the recession (USA) really hit the IT job market in India?

Just some months back during covid, crazy salary figures were offered as relevant from Fishbowl posts.
Eg 4-5 years in a couple of tech stacks grabbing 35+ lakh as a package.

Now as read in articles
- Contracs are not been renewed as have to retain permanent employees
- Campus offers are put to hold

1. What's the current scenario with a switch?
2. What about the joiner who came at high packages?

I am looking for job role change. Kindly inform me,if you see an opportunity

Currently a Wealth Advisor for Citi but I honestly hate it here with a passion it’s the worst company I’ve ever worked for in my life and I’ve been in Wealth Management in the banking channel for over a decade. Series 7, Series 63, Life, CFP, ChFC, and soon to have my MBA with a focus in Mergers & Acquisitions. I’m look to enter another area of Finance at this point instead of starting over somewhere else from scratch, but not sure what direction to go. Interested in Investment Banking or M&A.

Have final interviews soon for Deloitte’s experienced analyst role in their SAP practice. No module/industry specific but I am interested in FICO and going to sell myself for this as I have an accounting background and CPA. Questions:
- What are some topics or trend I should look into for my technical interview? What is expected to know as a qualified candidate?
- Any specific skills/knowledge that are good to have for this role?
- Expected salary range in HCOL area?
Any insights are appreciated

Partners, Principals, and Directors- how did you network effectively as you moved up in your firms? Seems like rubbing a lot of elbows is required to make friends that will vouch for you. Personally find it difficult at networking events because I don't drink, and though I have a ton of friends that do and am personally comfortable around folks that get loose, they seem to be the ones that are a bit more closed off for a number of reasons that I can understand. If you don't drink, did you experience these challenges? And whether you do or don't, what tips do you have on building those real, lasting relationships? Always feels like I have to work down their guard and that just takes so much more work than I feel others don't have to do
