Deloitte asked me this exact question when I moved from Accenture lol. I didn't give them the info but still got the job. They don't need to know. Go in the interviews knowing your worth.
U never tell
Depend on the state.
In Cali you don’t tell.. not sure about other states.
CA and NY — they can’t ask questions like that.
They may ask for a paystub as proof of employment and tie your salary in from that. But seldom practiced.
I wasn’t asked and didn’t share. For onboarding they wanted W2’s from prior jobs for background check, but I blacked-out all the comp info and still got the job.
Prolly depends on recruiter and interviewer but I was never asked my current wage during the hiring process for AFS
Never share. Say what it would take to get you to take the job.
They don’t - I was able to get a 35% bump from them because of it. They do ask for paystubs or W-2s to verify your employment at your current job - but they ask for any salary or other financial items to be redacted.
Was never asked. Came from EY to ACN got a 25% bump.
Awesome to hear. Thanks all!
I left Deliotte not to long ago, and nope they do not ask !!
Sounds about right
