It's a legitimate business networking expense if you make sure to bring up work in your profile. True story

Do you ever need to re-interview when returning from GSAP? For example, if you want to move from the tech to S&O competency area? Or move offering portfolios?

Homeland is getting interesting again..,,,👌

When you apply for a job at a client of your office, does the client talk with your employer, like the audit partner? I’m curious if they would ask my current employer if they recommend me. I’m looking to apply at a couple of clients of the EY office I work for, but not clients I work on. I don’t want my team to find out.

What sort of access do your respective firms provide for Gartner. None or does everyone get access to all their premium research?

Nightmare project, awful client, it's so cold that the snow I track into my car freezes over in a matter of hours, and this week Hertz forgot to put an ice scraper in my car. 2016 can only get better.

For anyone who is burnt out and looking to leave big law and go to a midsize, do your research. I was one of those people and I can tell you the grass is NOT greener on the other side. It’s a myth. In retrospect, I should’ve stayed and set better boundaries and not have taken this 35% pay cut.

Coworkers found out how much I make and are giving me a hard time about it. But I live in a Tier 1 city, they live in Jacksonville/Detroit/Kansas City. How do people not understand COL affects pay?

I was just offered a position in the CDP program at Accenture Austin starting in March. Unfortunately I’m currently finishing out the school year as a teacher on a fellowship. I don’t want to ditch my commitment as I’m not that type of person, but I don’t want to pass up this opportunity. I asked for a start date near end of July and the recruiter said he would go to bat for me.
What are my chances of my start date getting pushed? Has anyone experienced this? I thought I’d be starting in fall.

Am I the only one that wants to reply "no, do this yourself" when an email writes "can you please"?

For those that have switched to Industry, have you found that the job is less stressful? I get that the hours are largely the same, just wondering if predictability helps.

Anyone from Tampa? How do you like it?? Good airport for business travel? Thinking of moving. Thanks.
