VERY hard to layoff a partner.
1) Directors who focus on pipeline but don't or struggle to bring in business
2) Shitty managers (typically experienced hires)
2) "Old" Seniors or those who suck
3) Terribly performing Associates
That's not how the world works my friend.
School hires (undergrad and MBA) who started two years prior and weren't getting promoted (although possibly would've gotten promoted in better years) got hit big this year.
During the financial crisis at EY the first years out of undergrad were among the safest. Every other level was free game.
Well what about a non billable manager vs associate. Obviously the associate cost a lot to at least significantly less
More likely staff go first, not fair but true
Thank you pwc 1
P1 interesting
I think P1 is mostly right. Second year senior, trying to get promoted this year.
d2 By got hit, do you mean layoff or just terrible promotion. do you think your federal layoffs are a lot less than commercial side? Not relevant to my situation but curious. KPMG fed practice is tiny. So prob more at risk than commercial
It easier to shit can the junior staff
Layoff
I know nothing about federal sorry
