F****you @Strategy&1
Also @BA1 incorrect - I am on l1b and about to get my green card through company sponsorship
Thanks! Do you know how long I need to work on L1B until I can apply for green card?
I'm not super sure..but I heard the firm cannot apply green card for you if you are L1B? Since the visa restrictions..? Probably should ask lawyers.
Bbbbyyyyyeeee
Hahahahahha baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiii
L1B is intercompany transfer. I'd stay on as long as you can before it expires - so 5yrs. Why not try for green card instead?
@D1 thanks for the info!
@D1 - how long do you have to work on L1B to start the process?
It depends on company policy. Mine was 6mths
Thanks! @D1 And how long are you going to be working the U.S.? I mean how long is your transfer program.
It's been 18months so far. Probably another 6 to go. A lot of the time is waiting for govt approvals to the next stagw
I see....so the green card application process can still go on even if you go back to your home country?
Well you need to be employed by PWC US through the process...
Yea. I know. I mean after 18+6 months, you will go back to your home country but still employed by Deloitte US?
No? I guess the point of the green card is to stay in America? If you're worried about your visa expiring I would talk to your immigration department
Thanks! Not worried about that. Just wanna know my options. :)
