Starting 9/1, EY's United healthcare choice plus insurance will increase the lifetime max fertility benefit from $25K healthcare + $10K drugs to $50K blended. Pleasantly surprised by this increase and was not expecting an insurance company to offer up more benefits!

Any parents here who really struggled after the arrival of a new baby? It was a planned pregnancy, but after 2 years of this new life, I feel trapped and I feel like this is not the life that I wanted. I know I'll probably get a lot of mean comments here. I have 5+ years of experience in life science (bench top, pathology in a hospital, startup, and most recently clinical research). I’m convinced that the reason some of these firms are so prestigious is because they have intentionally exclusionary recruitment practices. I used to believe that you had to already be rich to get hired at MBB. Now being on the other side of the recruitment process , I really do feel that it rings true. I hate the way we evaluate candidates and decide on who is “high priority” during coffee chats.
