Called Delta twice to double check that my partner airline checked bag will be free, got a different answer each time 🙄 glad to know support is so competent and well versed in the airline policies...
Pet peeve: People texting me minutes after they emailed me asking if I received it. Special bonus when I've had to chase them all week for the email.
Started at my firm 4 months ago, and just found out my SO got a promotion that would require us to move across the country (we’re not married). Advice for asking to be transferred/go remote? Cont.

NEW TECHNOLOGY ALERT! I just received a Beta link to try out an upcoming feature in Pipedrive. They added the ability to prospect from their Leads tab digitally. You put in the search criteria, and their search engine will go out and pull in contacts or companies based on your search. From there, you can add the lead to your leads section. The person-based leads I have found thus far have had an email address, phone numbers, and LinkedIn links. Give it a look if you can. It is pretty neat.
Say you're at Big 4 and 3 boutiques each give you identical offers, how would you choose which one to go with?
Booking a work trip for next week, coincidently traveling to a city where family lives, trying drop off my kid there for a few days- is possible to book her flight and not expense?
Do senior managers ever notice when one individual on the team is trying to undermine the authority of the project lead?
I have an upcoming final round interview for an M&A role and I’m considering reaching out to someone on the broader M&A team thru LinkedIn (who I’m not interviewing with) to get a sense of the team and culture. If I were to get the job, this would be a peer of mine. I’m also hoping this may help me gain insights for the final round. Any chance reaching out to someone on the side could hurt my candidacy? Should I just wait until after the final round? FWIW, we do have a few shared connections.
How are internal roles at EY? Same as any other B4? Compensation, wlb, etc.? Looking at a finance analyst role.
Just got laid off after a 3-minute call with a partner today. Any layoffs going on in other firms? Love consulting but anxious to find another consulting job now

80% of the times we travel, we don't need to be traveling. Not only is it wasting the client's money, it's a waste of time that we could all spend doing other things. When will this change?
