The font is often referred to as Breguet numerals, named after the watch brand Breguet. They’re a storied watch brand in existence since 1775. The look is very distinctive and the details are stunning.
Quite a lot of brands from ultra high end to affordable have used Breguet style numerals, including Patek Philippe on the 5170G. I’d say just keep an eye out for the style across various brands and I’m sure you’ll find something that works for you in time.
In the affordable range
Yeah, they have some cool designs. It's actually large seconds hand and small date indicator. Movement is a 6R15 derivative. I have this movement in my dive watch, and it's pretty accurate for the price point - mine runs about +5 seconds per day.
Not identical but look at some of the Mont Blanc editions.
FYI, the date is likely just in the process of switching over (assuming the watch is at 11:51PM).
Oh, you were right.
It is crap though, when you reset the chronometer it goes to 0:03 instead of 0:00
Have a look at Mont Blanc, I’ve got a Star XL with Arabic numerals in a similar font.. can find one used on eBay for sub-$3k depending on condition
There are some Poljots, Pobedas and Raketas (Soviet/Russian watches) that use Breguet numerals AND Breguet hands. They usually go for less than even those Kickstarter watches, and are proper watches with in-house movements and a respectable history.
