I am a Revenue Cycle Analyst at a large hospital.
I come from a healthcare operations background, have my Masters in Health Administration and 3+ yoe in large hospitals/headquarters. I am now learning sql on my own, proficient in excel and tableau.

I feel experience is the best teacher. As you go, you can just ask google how to do the issue at hand and find solutions. Vlookups, macros, conditional formatting are all useful
Agree with this! I would even perhaps take existing models and try to build yourself. But the first part is understanding what you are trying to do in excel. Excel is just the tool and google is a lifesaver!
YouTube - ExcelisFun you can follow along and this guy explains clearly with many tutorial videos that are digestible. Also he provides links to download the workbooks to follow along. I became an advanced excel user because of these videos
