Anyone know of FP&A or other corporate finance openings in the NYC area?

What attorney position (generally speaking) has the least burnout and best work life balance? I realize I’m totally generalizing here, but just wondering everyone’s thoughts and experiences. I imagine a government position, possibly like county counsel, would be good with no billables, no need to find clients, etc. I’m looking for the closest thing to a 9-5, if it exists.

I’ve worked in clinical research in the academic/non profit world for the past five years. I want to transition to a role in pharma or a CRO, but haven’t been successful yet because I don’t have industry experience. Does anyone know of any CROs/pharma companies that are willing to hire someone with research expertise from an academic medical center rather than already in industry? Thanks!

What happens to the buy-in once a Partner leaves? I have an equity partner position offer from a Big4 company and I need to buy-in, which is equivalent to Y1 target comp. The buy-in is in the form of a bank loan which the company takes out in my name and they cover all interest payments. I am curious as to what happens when I eventually exit the partnership. Will I get the buy- in amount back as the loan is against my name?
