I was getting out of the military, had no directly transferable work skills, and needed to make a living in an expensive city (San Diego). Started looking at my options and found that I could do menial labor for just above minimum wage OR I could learn to get people to buy things and make this wonderful thing called commission! Hi everyone, looking for a referral to jobs in M&A/FDD and Restructuring/Turnaround work. I’m an Audit lead senior w 2 years and 3 busy seasons experience. Currently in interview process with several MM FDD and Rx firms.

A recruiter called and said I am a final candidate for a role I’ve been interviewing for. They told me they are thinking mid to low $60ks but when I originally spoke to them, they gave me a range of $58-$68k. Then they asked me what my salary expectations were and I was transparent and told them for the role and my experience $68-$80k was the range considering the role is essentially 3 jobs in 1. I told them I’m happy to consider the full offer. Should I be concerned they won’t offer me the job?
