I'm interviewing for a Product Designer role at a tech company and have my portfolio presentation next week. I'm presenting 1-2 projects for 30 minutes, then there will be 30 minutes for questions. The advice I got from the hiring manager was "make it feel less like a presentation and more like a conversation." How would you accomplish that while still presenting your work?

And do you have information about yourself at the start of the presentation? YouTubers do, but what about in real life?

I have an initial call with Meta for an investigations/risk/fraud role. Any Meta folks willing to provide some tips? I have an extensive investigations background but want to be fully prepared! Thanks!

Starting us off with an important tip: Your resume is a marketing document, not an autobiography. It should include relevant jobs, responsibilities, and perhaps most importantly, achievements. Where you can quantify an accomplishment or just talk up a major project you led at work or in an internship, do so. The point is to make the hiring manager think, “Wow, I need to talk to this person! They seem like a good fit!”
