Anyone know the career trajectory for Revenue Accounting? I was aiming for something more broad under the Controller, but seems like it’s too difficult to get to directly out of PA. The Company is ideal for me, but questioning the position/trajectory.

Following. I actually was more interested in a “Revenue Accounting Manager” role vs. more broad Corp accounting, since it seems more technical

I’ve been at my agency for almost 3 years now and recently got promoted from junior level to mid-level. I discovered copywring my senior year of college and got hired right after I graduated. I want to keep improving my skills and work on some more exciting projects. I’m considering doing an online portfolio school like Adhouse, but wondering (cont.)

I (31 yo) left agency for a really stagnant, boring and dead-end (but cushy) corporate comms role (been here for 3+ yrs now). I've freelanced a lil bit on the side and I'm thinking of doing it full time, but I worry that i'm too used to the structure of my work and might not have the drive for freelancing. Anyone have tips, insights, opinions on this situation or on going freelance?

Upcoming PM interview. I have an interview next week and am not sure how to prepare for the domain knowledge questions. Out of the few to choose, I have picked AI/ML strategy and market. The actual role would be in cloud but not related to AI/ML.

What kind of questions can I expect? Especially when the rest of the interview are supposed to be product design and strategy.

The information that I have got from the recruiter could be anything and nothing and is too broad imho.

Need some advice. I just accepted a new position that starts later this summer at the beginning of July. Earlier this year I was approved for 2 weeks PTO at the end of June/early July (getting married). Where I'm at now they do not have unlimited PTO, so there is nothing they owe me when I leave. What would be the best way to handle putting in my 2 weeks notice if I want to try and still get paid my PTO before I leave?

I left my firm a week ago. My main reason was the culture (not taking D&I seriously, not a culture of appreciation, lacking vision) but a close second was WLB. I’m taking 2 months off before my next job. They seem more in line with my values. And WLB could be a bit better but not substantially bc it is still PA! I’m hoping for the best but.. just in case.. Cabin you tell me about their experience w contract work? Who do you go through? Can you do it only when you want? Is it hard to find?
