Joining Industry has been pretty interesting. I’d love to hear about the little nuances you’ve noticed after making the switch.

I’ll go first:
- The concept of a “boss” is very real. This person is largely responsible for your career, knows your salary, and has influence in things like internal transfers
- The idea of working FOR your boss is also new
- No time sheets or utilization
- Decks and presentation skills are way less polished

I've watched LinkedIn go from professional networking platform, to Facebook, to dating app, to message board for terminal cancer prognoses/obituaries and I think this is by far the saddest iteration
