I recently realized that I no longer want to work with a partner ( Partner A). Partner A became a partner 2 years ago but still works like a senior manager and tries to micromanage everything. Partner A is also very slow in reviewing the work which results in delays in deliverables. I always had a great relationship with my clients but this is causing issues. The problem is 3 of my biggest 5 clients are Partner A's clients and I like my clients and the work. What do I do?

In an environment where we’re barely surviving, fielding resignations left and right, I thought this might be a good place to vent, source ideas, discuss common trends etc. Our field is very unique and hard to find comps in terms of salary, daily duties, expectations so I’m hoping we can have an open dialogue on this!

Where can I find new friends? I feel like my priorities are so different from them now. They are still in a hyper competitive rat race mindset. Every conversation is about finmemes or PE recruiting or how their date works at Wells instead of at Goldman. Does anyone else dread flying back home to spend a weekend in the town you grew up in? The older I get the harder it is for me to go home and visit for the weekend. How do you deal with the anxiety of going home? I love my family and am fairly close to them. I have another sibling that lives out west.
