I hate to quit my job as a software developer without another job lined up but I have my reasons behind it. Ive had panic attacks and bad anxiety within the last few months, hard time sleeping at night, I am not happy and I have frequent headaches. I've also been told some people aren't meant to be engineers, says my manager. I have less than 2 years of experience but I'm wondering what would you do in my situation? Would you leave tech or stay in a similar role? Or take a short break?

Wonder if anyone can offer advice on which cert to pursue next? I obtained my CompTIA Security+ last year and wondering if I should go for the CySA+ or Pentest+ next. I also have my AWS CCP and will be sitting for the Solutions Architect soon as well. Currently not doing security stuff at work but would love to keep my skills going. I was hoping one of these next certs will help me finally break into a security role and love the idea of pentesting but not sure if the CySA+ is more beneficial.

Hi! I’m sort of considering a career change and have been for a while. I’m still only on my first job, but the problems I am facing are a lack of variety and writing headlines, etc is not something that brings me joy I am realizing, but instead burns me out. I am very good at/loved the problem solving part though when I was in school. Am I in the wrong field or role? Changing is a scary thought, but I am willing to do it.

Say you work at Accenture and are doing OK (haven't been laid off yet and have projects lined up). Also let's say that you have good skills in cloud infrastructure, which is plenty busy right now. What would motivate you to accept a job offer at a tiny consulting firm (less than 300 people)? Would a good raise and a promotion to Senior Manager be enough? There are many risks involved with going to a tiny firm. What would it take for you make the jump and overcome concerns?
