1. WLB is awesome but depends upon may be projects
2. Promotions you will easily get till ITA - 7-8 years exp.... But after that its tough you have to showcase the skills, only core development will not work
3. Compensation is the issue... As initially we were getting 8 to 12% hike every year now since past 5 years reduced to 4-8%...
4. Now for lateral they are offering good... If you really wanna join I definitely recommend if YOE is 8+

I have been working as a BA for 4.5 yrs now. I recently came across this opportunity to work as a Scrum master which wil not include requirement gathering. Even though moving to a better company is a priority as I have always been associated with mid sized organisations, leaving behind the BA profile got me in two minds.

Can anyone help me with a suggestion?

I’ve spent my career on the internal/exec comms side of the house and am looking for a director role. I am getting some interest from recruiters, but the the roles seem to be focused on media relations. Is that typical?? I’ve managed external comms but it’s not my expertise. The roles do come with a broader comms team, so if I were to get one then it’s not like I would be on my own. Am I being insecure about not being experienced enough in media relations or is it ok?

Ahh I’m drunk but I love my team
