I’m receiving a lot of proposals for freelance jobs from US, but since I’m a senior designer I don’t usually work by hour but by projects and I’m having some difficulty to understand the US market prices. It never really bothered me when I was working for a firm - probably because I had such a limited view of the deals I was handling. Just an update that if your spouse prepares joint tax return for the year without your consent, forges your signature, and steals the full refund, it seems you actually can report that fraud through IRS form 14157 and 14157a. Just a friendly tip from my personal digging on IRS site in case anyone else is in this situation, since the IRS hotline never knows how to help people in serious need! 🥳

What’s the typical interview process at PwC like? I met with a recruiter and we went back and forth for a few months, then interviewed with the director of a specialty group. Trying to see if I should plan for additional interviews or when they usually get back to you if they intend to move forward.
