I see a lot of talk of people jumping ship (rightly so in most cases) but who has only ever worked at one company, and for how long? Tell us your story!

Me: Freelancer for 7 years, joined a company in 2016 and moved up the ranks. 6 years here and still feel happy, valued and rewarded for my work.

What sort of things can you discuss when presented with an offer? I was recruited right after college 7 yrs ago and have been with the same company since then so I don't have much experience switching jobs. A bit of additional info, the new role is in another country.

I’ve been at the same agency for 5 years, have had endless growth opportunities, love the people I work with and have been promoted regularly with salaries I’m happy with but something has felt off for awhile now. I can’t put my finger on what “it” is but I’m bored of the work, the office politics just annoy me and I roll my eyes on every email that comes though. I think everything is pushing me for a new change in my career but I’m also worried that the grass may not be greener. Advice?

I am looking to gain certification or other credentialing in diversity and inclusion, not only because it would look good on my resume both for future job-search purposes and also to become better educated in this area, which is growing in importance.
I looked at SHRM's "Inclusive Workplace Culture Specialty Credential" and got a bit of "sticker shock" at the cost - $1,655.00 for members.
Does anyone have other suggestions on training/credentialing in this area?

Planning to take the CIPP and CIPM. Will be doing self-study. What is the “book” everyone refers to for studying? Is it just the “study guide” the IAPP sells? Does anyone know if the study guides and sample questions you can buy on amazon are sufficient to use for passing? Appreciate any and all advice.

Looking to exit after 2 years into a new industry. Most of my project work and prior work experience has been in the healthcare space. Having a hard time getting interviews for Post-MBA roles (e.g., TC>160k) despite 2 years at S&, another professional degree, and 7YoE (5 of which were non-corporate and 2 were corporate). Recruiters are dismissing my prior work experience. Feeling a bit down about this.

I’m trying to move to Vancouver at the moment on a Working Holiday visa, but I’m getting instantly rejected after the CV & cover letter review on every application (that I definitely would have been qualified for). Is it likely to be down to the fact that I’ve stated I currently live in the UK and will be moving on a Working Holiday visa in my cover letter? Or am I being naive and actually it’s likely that my CV & cover letter are rubbish? Any advice massively appreciated, this is killing me!!

I am an expert communicator, both written and verbal (many publications, and pre-consulting/fs career in public speaking), and a great salesperson. Want to be able to keep writing and attending conferences, as well as have a sales component. I don't enjoy working with back office banking robots.
