If you are working industry, 40 hours a week with a competitive pay and left B4 tax - can you share your new job title? Not sure what is out there that I could apply for. The b4 life is not for me and is actually affecting my family (mom of 2 kiddos). I’m looking into something with true flexibility and less than 50 hours a week. Any advice?

I have been offered a 25 percent hike at a big 4 but have another offer with 40 percent hike in a Boutiqe firm. I asked the HR of the big 4 if she could adjust since I have a 40 percent hike letter. Working as an audit staff in big 4 shared service centre. It's been 2 years. I really don't like what I do there, also it seems I won't like what I'll be doing there even after becoming senior. Thinking of leaving and joining industry once ACCA qualified. (One more paper left). But people around me discourage that growth potential and earnings in industry are way less compared to public accounting. I know that too but I still want to leave. I'd like to stick to core accounting. Thoughts pls

How do I tell my manager I'm leaving the firm? First time quitting a job and I don't know the etiquette. I assume a Zoom is better than an email. Do I tell him where I'm going and why? Do I tell other people too or let him do it? Any important details to take care of?
I know the usual advice for saving is emergency fund - 401k up to match - max IRA - max 401k - HSA?/personal brokerage. However, where does saving for a house deposit and car deposit (want used but only ~2-3 yrs old) fit in? I’m 26, 100k salary and have been trying to put away 3k per month into HYSA/emergency fund, was maxing 401k at ~$800 per pay period (lowered to $400 a month a few months ago since no firm match and would like to put $ into HYSA/house/car fund), and $500/month to max IRA.
