Love Paula! And yes, I think a huge part of my attitude towards FIRE is having more negotiating power in my life. I’ll still always be doing some type of work. Most of the gurus end up taking that approach

Need help in choosing a company -

I have offers from 3 companies for UX designer role
1) Deloitte India (Consultant)
2) Thermo fisher scientific
3) Boeing

I am from India with 4.5 years of design experience. Which one would be a good choice?

I have worked in 2 startups and don't have a lot of peers or friends who can help me out.

I will appreciate any response.

Stuck between 2 offers, which would you choose? Eventually I want to work in ML/AI or blockchain/crypto

Offer 1: Non-profit financial advisor, awesome culture, design process & ethos align with mine, but still beholden to some outdated backend systems. Basically won't be able to innovate for a while

Offer 2: Consultancy focused on spinning up startups in large corp. Seems like cool work but I know very little about the culture/ process. Very sales-y HR but haven't talked to designers yet

If you were a junior creative with some experiences in big network agencies, what would you choose between these two :

A - Big network agency, working only on one account but doing potentially award winning work. Very ambitious and talented team.

B - New unknown agency with a small network backup but several accounts, competing for new clients and the will to win awards too. Two creative teams for now but lots of ambition and possibly more growth and potential to evolve as a junior creative.

So I got some potential graphic design work from Creative Circle. Only problem is that they only service people from Ontario, and I am from Vancouver. To circumnavigate the system they were asking that I pretend to be an Ontario resident using a friend or relative's address. This feels sketchy AF but I am in need of work right now. How will this screw me in the future if I go with it?

At what level of comp is it worth it to have a toxic work culture? Currently at 120k in a MCOL w/no income tax, if I stay earning potential can easily double in 1-2 years but work 80+ hours and people are all miserable. I have an offer for the same comp, love the people and would be max working 60 hours but only when it’s super busy but normally 40-50 hours; earning potential in 1-2 would probably be 150-175k. Staying in would help getting to FIRE but feel like it’s not worth it. Thoughts?

Pretty naive when it comes to investments. I was talking to the financial planner service my company offers and they suggested a mix of Large Cap Stock 40%, Small Cap Stock 10%, and Foreign Stock 50%. I'm a 27 year old male so still a ways off from retirement. Does this sound reasonable?

Scores consider the number of accounts that are paid as agreed. Your score was impacted because the number of these accounts is too low, or because you've missed payments recently on some of your accounts.

Assuming I can max out my 401k/Roth IRA, would you guys recommend doing backdoor Roth, or just max out the accounts and then keep the rest of my savings in a regular brokerage? And why?
