Had a hirevue for Goldman. Next day my status got updated to interview. It's been 3 weeks but I haven't heard back, and I don't have any recruiters to follow-up with. What do I do?

FTM here and I need to get opinions. I’m back at work remote but in desperate need of childcare. With my husband and I working from home…it’s so crazy trying to manage a 6 month old. So the question is…do you think it’s better to have a nanny or daycare. I want my son to be socialized as much as possible…but then COVID. I am also seeing that nannies are umm kinda pricey too for a long term bid. So just trying to see the general consensus

I have a standing offer with Accenture (AFS). Due to coronavirus, the recruiter told me they are pausing staffing of external people like myself while they take care of internal people on the bench. My recruiter said he would touch base monthly during covid, but usually I’m the one to reach out to him. We haven’t spoken since mid March, so should I reach out? I totally understand if they’re still in the same position as before and nothing changed since mid March in terms of hiring.

Let me know if you want an Amex referral! Can throw in a mck referral in there too

So I started a new job and I am killing it with great advancement opportunities. I just got offered a new job in industry that's probably is as best of an exit anyone gets and the role is innovative. Should I leave? (let's leave compensation out of the discussion)

I need a part time job to be able to support my family that lost most of their income due to Covid. I’m a first generation immigrant college grad, which for me means student loans and parents with unstable jobs. Any ideas what I could do to make some extra money besides retail?

How do people feel about federalizing education. This would put teachers on the GS pay scale where federal employees with a bachelor's degree would all have a minimum salary and federal benefits.

Anyone else really pack on the pounds during work from home? I really blew up - probably gained 40-45 pounds. I feel so bloated and sluggish all the time and none of my clothes fit anymore. I hope I’m not alone.

Can anybody shed light on why I got bumped? I booked an award ticket (class YN), which I thought removed you from upgrade eligibility unless you have the Chase United card (have the no AF version).

Does anyone maybbbbbe think that this new “spike” in corona virus cases could be possibly caused by these massive riots in every major city? Not saying the riots are bad or wrong, but let’s not kid ourselves and say these aren’t a contributing factor. So when people are surprised at the USAs rising rates, I mean come on...

I'm 10lbs stronger on bench press when managers are in the gym, and 20lbs stronger when directors are there. Anyone?

Any good registry hacks? Or discounts to save money for things I’ll need for me , baby or the house?

Any current/Ex IBM please guide me to Opt In/Out of the IBM's Medical Insurance. To start of there is a co share of premium for a base sum insured of 3L which comes around 1790/- Then skipping the benefits for a second if I jump on to the claim part there is a Copay of 10-90. Employee will have to bear 10% of the claim and insurer will bear the other 90%. For dependents 20-80 Copay. Are the benefits are good enough to consider copay and subscribe ? Please Suggest.

Take PTO during project or roll off then PTO?

Interviewing with a small internal strat team (currently 3 FTEs) led by the CSO. One VP was awesome, Ex MBB really energetic/excited is with 1.5 yrs in tenure. Then interviewed with the other VP and Manager. They weren’t great, overall not quite at the same level as the VP in terms of professionalism and pedigree. They were very tactical and felt more like middle managers without vision. The latter two seem to have grown up in the company (3-4 years)

PSA: PwC has unfrozen comp and will be giving base comp adjustments effective on 01/01/2021. Advisory on cohort system will be trued up to their current cohort based on FY20 salary and all other groups will receive incremental salary adjustments from 1-5%. Now that’s a Christmas gift!
