FTM here and I need to get opinions. I’m back at work remote but in desperate need of childcare. With my husband and I working from home…it’s so crazy trying to manage a 6 month old. So the question is…do you think it’s better to have a nanny or daycare. I want my son to be socialized as much as possible…but then COVID. I have a standing offer with Accenture (AFS). Due to coronavirus, the recruiter told me they are pausing staffing of external people like myself while they take care of internal people on the bench. My recruiter said he would touch base monthly during covid, but usually I’m the one to reach out to him. We haven’t spoken since mid March, so should I reach out? I totally understand if they’re still in the same position as before and nothing changed since mid March in terms of hiring.

Any current/Ex IBM please guide me to Opt In/Out of the IBM's Medical Insurance. To start of there is a co share of premium for a base sum insured of 3L which comes around 1790/- Then skipping the benefits for a second if I jump on to the claim part there is a Copay of 10-90. Employee will have to bear 10% of the claim and insurer will bear the other 90%. For dependents 20-80 Copay. Are the benefits are good enough to consider copay and subscribe ? Please Suggest.

Take PTO during project or roll off then PTO?

Interviewing with a small internal strat team (currently 3 FTEs) led by the CSO. One VP was awesome, Ex MBB really energetic/excited is with 1.5 yrs in tenure. Then interviewed with the other VP and Manager. They weren’t great, overall not quite at the same level as the VP in terms of professionalism and pedigree. They were very tactical and felt more like middle managers without vision. The latter two seem to have grown up in the company (3-4 years)

PSA: PwC has unfrozen comp and will be giving base comp adjustments effective on 01/01/2021. Advisory on cohort system will be trued up to their current cohort based on FY20 salary and all other groups will receive incremental salary adjustments from 1-5%. Now that’s a Christmas gift!
