I have 5+ years of experience in life science (bench top, pathology in a hospital, startup, and most recently clinical research). Who are people using for auto and homeowners insurance? Currently paying Erie $878 per year for 2016 BMW 428i in Arlington, no claims or tickets last few years. Just did an online quote with Progressive, and for identical coverages it was $200 less, BUT their homeowners was about $500 more so total cost worse. Geico comes in higher too.
