Also now they are forcing me to come back to kolkata office, is there any possibly they may let me work from bangalore office even if my project ODC is not there in bangalore?

Nowadays because of an immediate joinee service based company recruit ppl with less skills and candidates are not able do day to day tasks after on boarding
So for these candidates who cant perform well when they billable what company can react for this like release from project or lay off them or give training?

Honestly you’ll be working on smaller probably messier clients, incompetent staff for the most part (have to give credit to the good ones), and busy year round. From what my friends at b4 tell me they have a few large clients whereas during busy season alone I’ve had to juggle over 10 MESSY clients. Not fun. Why leave to work the same if not more hours without the benefits b4 has to offer? And by benefits I mean prestige, if you look up job descriptions they all state that they want b4 experience.
Yes but going to mid tier doesn’t guarantee partner also. I know this one guy who will never get partner Bc of office politics. If partner is definitely something you want your next move should be going to a smaller firm as a PARTNER. Not manager or senior manager. Even then the partners QOL is trash for the revenue they bring in. I know of ONE partner in my office who actually makes decent money based on his book everyone else just busts their ass making peanuts.
I’m not just bashing mid tier just because I’ve lived through it and experienced a lot and don’t see many perks.
I would recommend a mid-tier firm instead of a regional.
I think I might have ised the inaccurate terminology- they have offices across the country and the globe. They operate the US firm in regions though. The Midwest region has a CEo, the East, the West, etc. So, it's one of the largest non-big 4 firms in my area.
