Looking for a new challenge. Interested in a referral into Salesforce. I’m currently a top performing senior Field Sales Executive selling new business subscription and SaaS into the corporate tech vertical. I live in the DMV area. Hit me up if you’d be willing to help with a referral at Salesforce. Thanks!!
So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

Hello all,
Would like to know specifically about Queer inclusion at SocGen Societe Generale. What is the attitude of mangers and HRs towards treating LGBTQ identifying candidates? Is company really inclusive or it’s just a lip service? Considering an offer with the company but being an out and proud Queer woman, super anxious and concerned.

Just FYI, they pay way more than agencies. Even agencies who work onsite at tech companies, offer lots more money for those particular roles. They even offer relo and housing. High $100,s is not unreasonable for an onsite ACD, depending if it’s full time or contract.

Great position to be in, OP. Congrats and good luck.
I am also being courted by a Menlo Park/Palo Alto company, but I did loads of research on rent/housing prices. Tiny apartments for $3k or more. Crappy older (tiny) houses for $1 million! Or live 2 hours inland to get a reasonable rent. I thought prices were dropping, but maybe not fast enough. Also, gas is typically $1 more a gallon in California. You may love it there, but you’re definitely gonna need that high salary. If I were you, I might even push for $200k or more. Good luck.
If you want to hear an interesting story about a major agency CD moving into tech, check out this interview with Jayanta Jenkins about how he left TBWA\Chiat\Day to work on Apple and eventually Twitter. Good stuff: https://open.spotify.com/episode/3heCGosDZl7eFZSa1ID9zL?si=aBP76Fq6Qr6fS2AxeoPf1w

Congrats. Depends on where your moving from as well. Bay Area the cost of living can be even higher than NYC in some places. Agree that for a very senior ACD or CD $175-200k is reasonable for that area. Good luck!
